Landfills
TECNODREN’s excellent resistance to punching and alkalis means that it is used to protect geomembranes, to prepare tanks and is also used in the final stages of cultivating landfill sites for capping operations.

Stabilizing land, roads, motorways, airports, car, parks, railways
TECNODREN’s excellent resistance to traction, permeability and porosity make it an indispensable material for preparing land as it acts as a separating layer in such a way as to prevent contamination and mixing between the different layers of the site and backfill and at the same time acts as a water filter that does not allow the shift of solid particles and thus prevents landslides from occurring.

Roofing and tunnels
TECNODREN, owing to its chemical and physical features, protects the impermeabilising cladding used in tunnels and roofing. Its draining performance also enables effective drainage of underground engineering work, thereby preventing water runoff from creating dangerous excess pressure.

Coastal defences, water projects, canals, basins
TECNODREN also appears to be indispensable in coastal defence work, where a separating layer and filter are always required to prevent erosion of the ground and the shoreline. The same considerations apply to water projects, canals and basins, where it not only acts as a filter but may also protect geomembranes and the structure.

Foundations and supports of hanging gardens
TECNODREN’s draining and filtering functions prevent blocking of the drains at the back of the foundation and support structures and blockage of the drainage systems in hanging gardens.

Drainage and filtering systems
TECNODREN has many applications in this area. TECNODREN’s great flexibility for cladding drainage systems extends the life of the drainage systems by retaining fine particles whilst letting water through to stop the drains from getting clogged up. The host of applications vary from traditional drainage systems to sporting facilities and land drainage.

Forecourts, dry flooring
TECNODREN’s excellent earthseparating and reinforcing features mean that it is increasingly used to prepare foundations for dry flooring (concrete slabs) as it greatly increases the durability of the work by preventing the sand mixing with the layer underneath. It thus makes subsidence much more unlikely.
